Why is Square Enix holding back the good hairstyles??

I was really hoping we were going to get Ryne's hair with her outfit, but I'm not really surprised we didn't. They gave us Alphinaud's weird hair, but not Hilda's (still waiting for that one) or Ryne's now? I understand long hair clips, BUT I DON'T CARE. Why not just put a warning underneath it so people can't complain? (although they probably will anyway but oh well)

I want longer hair styles and more cute updo's so bad. Everyone wears that ONE PONYTAIL hairstyle because it's literally the only one that looks good with almost every race. We really need more of those please.

I wish more hairstyle used the physics system that cloth/clothing uses (probably uses havoc). Far too many longer hair styles look like they are frozen.

I really would love for them to do a character creator overhaul or something and change/improve a lot of things, maybe one day

I just want ponytails with better bangs. More that don't erase the 'tail' when you wear a hat.

Actually yeah you know what, it is weird... They're releasing the hairstyles of NPCs we hang out with constantly (Alphinaud/Alisaie...) when you think it'd make more sense to release those of NPCs we either don't see too often (Hilda) or are literally dead (Ysayle, who deserved better...)

I just want some short, normal looking hairstyles for male characters.

We didn't get Cid's hairstyle or Hien's hairstyle, either - so the approach seems to be random when it comes to making NPC costumes come with hairstyles.
