Glamours You'd Like To See

More traditional European plate armour, I wish I remembered how to imbed images to show examples, but you all know what I’m talking about, no butt-capes with the traditional knight helmet with almost a sorta “beak” and rounded top (armet helm) and possibly coming with intricate ingravings on the armour that stretchs from head to toe.

The 520 tome gear and some of the ARR stuff is close but I’d kill for more traditional stuff. You can look up European Plate Armour and you’ll see what I mean.

Type 0 uniform

Gloves that make the sleeves disappear like what casters have but for all classes

More racial and job specific gear. Since the classes are losing their identity in the general gameplay, tanks and healers especially.

Corset for female characters.
No long dresses for casters!

My guess is you could put together a Garnet glam without too much trouble - the high summoner's armlets, yellow tights, a bustier, and boots. It would be about 90 percent there.

*Edit* Having said that, I think Garnet's outfit is both cool and unique, and I'd like to see the real deal as well.

I'm still waiting on Tifa's hairstyle/outfit.

The Korean/Chinese exclusive outfits that haven't been released here would be a good idea too. Also Lulu's dress, just so we can finally see how it's supposed to look and what's actually underneath (I'm talking about footwear and maybe legwear guys, let's not get perverted. ...at least not right now...).

Personally, and admittedly just thinking about my character mostly, more Qipao/Cheongsam/Mandarian dresses or at least a top.

Something like this would be good.


Also, the school uniforms are great and all, but the socks could be a bit longer. Have them at least above the knee and up to the thighs.

I desperately want Lyse's costume from Stormblood.

Other than that I'd actually like to see more job-related glams, I think that an issue with gear specifically made for glam in particular is that it's a bit unfocused.
It's not made specifically for one Job.

Which makes sense, but also I think it'd be cool to see a big artifact armor styled addition later into expansions too for all Jobs.
That'd be to try and make everyone happy tho, but I'd be fine with just getting individual mogs like that too.
The problem is that people tend to get really mad when someone else gets something and they don't.

I wonder if there's anything really preventing them from making the Wolf Mark gear available for everyone? The early sets have levels but I don't think anyone buys them for the stats at this point, it wouldn't be a huge loss, right..?
