Something for casters / healers that DOESN"T involve a freaking dress.

Something for casters / healers that DOESN"T involve a freaking dress.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
A frilly dress at that.
As for glamours, I'd like something like the ARR harnesses to make a comeback. Not necessarily those specific harnesses, but something light, maybe revealing, yet somewhat armored

Honestly i'd like to see more racial related gear. FFXIV have an amazing atmosphere and immersion, different cultures have different traditional clothes.
Yes, we have a lv1 gear that is initial only but...i think we should have one at each 10 level (10-20-30-40-50-60-70-80-90) and why?
Because each race and "subtribe" have an awesome and well described culture. That's why. All this work serves nothing but a background...a well made glam could even sell more fantasia.
I'll give you some example from Eorzea Encyclopedia Vol1
Au'ra
Most unique and striking among the traditional dress of the AuRa are their belts, which feature prominent scale-shaped patterns. Inspired by the hardened skin of the Au Ra themselves, they symbolize
health and vitality. While the sleeves appear as if they have been indiscriminately ripped apart, this too is an age-old tradition meant to evoke an air of rugged strength.
Lalafell
A distincrive clement of traditional Lalarellin garb is the scarf, which also serves an eminently practical function- it can be unfurled to serve as a signal flag on the wide seas or vast deserts, allowing a Lalafell to stand out beyond his or her modest stature. They are also known to favor relaxed, loose-fitting garments that conceal their naturally rotund builds.
Miqote
The agile Miqo'te value freedom of movement above all else, shunning unwieldy armor that might restrict their range of motion. Miqo'te legwear is invariably perforated with a hole through which the tail dangles free, allowing them to maintain their unerring sense of balance.
Roegadyn
Traditional Roegadyn garb is designed as if to flaunt the wearer's imposing physique, with the biceps in particular strikingly exposed. The lower arms are typically covered with sturdy leather armguards with unique cross-stitched patterns, serving to further accentuate the Roegadyn's massive arms.
Did you already saw a Au'ra with a hood? I'll show you mine:

Inspired by this fellow Au'ra from Azim steppe https://imgur.com/ioYusSE
They are originally made to look like a nomad lizard/dragon people, it's perfect. However, how many hood we have? 2? 3?

(Except there's no apostrophe in Au Ra.)

Hm... Something like the Field Commander's Coat from the Seal Rock achievements.. But like, more casual looking.
Male dreadlocks, male dreadlocks, male dreadlocks, male dreadlocks. I need me some male dreadlocks :'(
I would really like to get a hold of some Armor that looks like Yojimbo's I know they have the bardings for a Chocobo but I would really love to see the Armor for my Player Character as well.
Maybe the outfit too...
But the main thing: THE SHOES. Viera's like myself love to retain the appearance of an ivalician viera but our default heels are too high so we're unable to wear trousers. While I do love the default one's, the shorter option would broaden the choices of outfits.

i want omega's weapons. the paladin sword and shield. the white mage cane. not the loot we got. but the ones the boss wields. you know, the shield like that looks like a one-winged angel
i mean, i want their outfits too, because the bow on her back is really cute
and while i'm dreaming, i want omega's robo paladin wings. dunno how they'd give me that, but i'm dreaming

Absolutely agree-- I want his hair style as well-- the whole concept for male Omega is literally derived from Amano-san's original WOL design (Collectors Box edition). Freaking love it.i want omega's weapons. the paladin sword and shield. the white mage cane. not the loot we got. but the ones the boss wields. you know, the shield like that looks like a one-winged angel

Would also like to have the Legatus' armour, starting with Van Hydrus gear...
Then Nael's...
And of course, Zenos' ceremonial garb-- after all, he's essentially discarded it-- I can get it drycleaned at my expense, no worries.
