Glamours You'd Like To See

So here we are approaching 6.0, and there's one particular glamour I've been wanting since 2.0, and it seems to me like a pretty basic item yet still no: Goggles that go over your character's head. Not sunglasses, not goggles with a hat attached, just plain old goggles, like the steel or plundered goggles, but up over the head. (There are actually two examples in game, but one is gender locked to male, the other is job locked to MCH. No good for my female BRD/MIN.)

I'd also like to see legs that look like denim jeans. Spring Bottoms and Tantalus Breeches are kinda close, but not quite there.

I'd actually kill for some romance era inspired outfits. High waisted pants and loose fitting shirts make me swoon. Could be from any era, really. I just really like the casual look, and tucked in shirts seem to be a novelty.

also would like some of the 1.0 gear made available again, as well as the city state outfit variants i see on npcs.

Shirtless shoulder capes for casters and healers. Extra shirtless for the males.

While it is unusual for the role archetypes, the game does occasionally bend its own conventions in the name of variety, and this could be one. I guess it could work as an all-job level 1 glamour.



Also, I want two axe glamours: a drafting square and a minimalist steel cross. Indeed, two weapon sets just for geometry tools and modernist interior decor/sculptures would be interesting.

And give Scholar a scroll. Many job get occasional weapons with unique form factors. Let's change out those books for once!

I'm mostly fine as long as they add more skirts that aren't either ankle-length or so short that you're showing off your underwear every time you take a step. I also wish they could do a better job with the physics in the game so that your skirt didn't fly into your face when casting spells and that they could have eastern style outfits with long sleeves instead of cutting them short and making them awkwardly stiff.

I don't play a tailed race anymore, but if they could at least consider tails and ears and horns when they make gear, that would be nice. Maybe if something has a cape, their tail could go under it rather than through it if they fixed the physics.

First up-- Haurchefaunt inspired gear by Athena. Back in 2016 or 2017, the artist Athena (click to see her work) made a couple concept amours with our beloved Haurchy as the theme as a Knight of House Fortemps-- these have been posted a few times on the forums by myself and some other players and till date, I still find them really spectacular. Wish these could be implemented one day-- I would literally pay for these on the MogStation to support the Devs and the artist.







Next up is the Nyx's gear from FFXV -- I've suggested this in the Dev corner a couple times and hope it eventually pops up. I absolutely intend to clad my squadron in these if it ever gets implemented.

Honestly i'd like to see more racial related gear. FFXIV have an amazing atmosphere and immersion, different cultures have different traditional clothes.
Yes, we have a lv1 gear that is initial only but...i think we should have one at each 10 level (10-20-30-40-50-60-70-80-90) and why?
Because each race and "subtribe" have an awesome and well described culture. That's why. All this work serves nothing but a background...a well made glam could even sell more fantasia.
I'll give you some example from Eorzea Encyclopedia Vol1

Au'ra

Roegadyn
Traditional Roegadyn garb is designed as if to flaunt the wearer's imposing physique, with the biceps in particular strikingly exposed. The lower arms are typically covered with sturdy leather armguards with unique cross-stitched patterns, serving to further accentuate the Roegadyn's massive arms.
