Level 90 Job Artifact Armours Looks so Bad and Borring

My only complaint is that the paladin set suffers from the same issue as the cryptlurker set, which is the cloak that clips with your tail.

And I'm not usually annoyed by clipping.

I think i am very much fine with that. It is so nice to have a glamour set that representes your specified class. And no, i think they must be job locked. Cause it would be very odd to see a dragoon with a white mage robe or a warrior with dancer clothes. It would kill immersion in every avaliable way.

I think it is far more odd seeing them wearing casual modern clothing, animal costumes or bikinis, so please spare us with " immersion breaking".

AF gear peaked in storm blood with some minor exceptions.
I get that af armor is supposed to be an evolution from expansion to expansion, not a revolution.
But some barely change (ast and rdm basically being copy paste from lvl80), others are not even designed with male protag in mind

I always Love artifact gear i even think Endwalker sets are way better than ShB ones only one i think is meh is bards.

Whether they're meant to represent a job or not, I feel like many of these are a bit been there, done that. I'd like to see something of a more innovative twist, which we saw with some jobs in previous expansions, e.g. HW and SB BLM. These don't look out of step with what we've seen for the past few expansions. There's a few I like, such as the GNB, SMN (looks decent on males), SAM (for the shoulders), WAR (showing chest) and MNK (for the mask) ones, but I'd like something a bit more switched up than this. DRG and DRK are again nothing too novel but I'd probably use those. Probably won't use ones like the RDM or BLM one, which is a pity, but we'll see how they end up looking on the model.

Well the entire point of these sets is for them to be unique to the job.

I wish they’d been a little more unique tbh. A lot of them look really uninspired and just copy pasted elements from past af gear.

My guess is some of the dungeon/crafted gear at launch will be more impressive looking.

Hey! They put a lot of work into those recolors! Personally i can’t wait for the undyable dungeon gear in 2021. Undyable dungeon gear 8 years after game release....geez
