For SAM it's not really useful, since those buffs are part of your rotation and are constantly reapplied.
For WAR though, might be useful to remember when to do that second combo, SMN also would benefit from it for their stacks of upgraded ruin.

I'm struggling a lot to keep the buffs up on SAM, and I play on 2k SkS. Mostly because I really like having Shifu up and tend to priorityze it above Jinpu, so sometimes I find myself throwing Midare - Tsubame without Jinpu and that is a massive DPS loss. Besides, it wouldn't hurt having it, would it? Maybe like 2 charms attatched to the "pommel" of the Kenki gauge. It doesn't hurt to be more informed. And if a DRK gets it for Darkside which I literally can not see it going below 10s under any circumstance, why not SAM?
That's what I was talking about. You don't REALLY need any of those widgets. Even the ones we already got are kind of unnecessary. NIN gets 70 seconds to refresh his Huton and Armor Crush counts for 35 of those, which is massive, you could do that with just a tiny buff. DRK literally refreshes Darkside without meaning to by just keeping his Mana out of 10k. DRG only really runs out of Blood of the Dragon during massive amounts of downtime, so his gauge is more of a Life of the Dragon gauge. And most DRGs know how long they get with Life of the Dragon.Monk used to have one that tracked it's Greased Lightning, which I was honestly surprised didn't get adjusted to be the twin snakes timer.
But as for even that skill along with plenty of the others, you refresh them naturally by doing your rotation so you don't really need to track them, unlike Huton which you have to use a different end move to your rotation in order to maintain it.
I do agree with the comment, though, about getting a spot on the summoner job hud to track stacks of further ruin.
A truly elite player can play his favorite class with his hotbars entirely hidden and still perform. I'm not arguing for it being necessary to have widgets. I'm saying that they would be very handy to fall back on and, most important of all, it would look flashy and cool! And I love myself a flashy widget with fancy lilies on them!
