I think the goal for Square Enix is definitely to have mainstream gaming articles about how males can wear bunny suits. I don't think their goal is to be accommodating. Hence why they went out of their way for that, and everything else is "we'll get around to it"

Unlocking the race-and-gender-specific hempen sets is a whole separate kettle of fish again, given that they have ignored player requests to make them non-race-specific for years.

Damn if only they had so many players they literally cant sell the game anymore and could invest that growth into something that represents everyone and not just what will get them props on twitter.
