I rather suspect that the stance would be very different if female characters were mostly only getting niche aesthetics themselves, such as being forced to have glamour designed to cover up all their feminine curves and hairstyles that were the equivalent of, say, a shaved head and little else.
Sadly I wouldn't be surprised if they would be happy with manly-looking glamours for females.
However, they would definitely be butthurt if we went on a crusade to make them wear very feminine nun-like robes all the time haha. No pants allowed, no tight fitting clothes on females allowed!

When community managers look at data they should consider who is actually going to use what they're asking for and who is not; it's critical in Marketing, Research, and Data analysis for them to be able to understand these factors. Unfortunately I don't think their staff is that deep.
