Indeed, although it seems to be their first port of call for feedback. It's best to keep identifying details on there to a bare minimum. It's a very predatory place. Any information you put up there is rife for the picking; even simple stuff like your FF character, etc
Hopefully it goes the way of the dodo soon.
Why have an official forum when all your energy is spent reading random twitter posts which might not even belong to real FF players. Much less FF players of said region.
I cannot remember if it was "most upvoted" or "most replies" per week but I half remember it being said that Yoshi/the team get a summary of the most active forum posts. So yeah. Keep those threads active. Post pictures of what you want in them. Make edits, artwork, keep it at the forefront so it can gain traction and keep appearing in those summaries that get passed along. So we just gotta keep those two threads that are focused on male aesthetics up and going? I hope that will work because I'd rather avoid making a Twitter account just to help get Yoshi-P and his crew's attention over this. Twitter...doesn't seem like a safe place to be on at all.
Twitter replies are honestly just as useless as most little threads here in that there can be 3000 replies to a SE post but most of them get a trivial amount of engagement, if any at all. Viral posts and people with larger followings get attention easier but that is true on any website/social app really these days.
I'm honestly skeptical about the power Twitter threads have over the decisions SE makes for the game. That website is terrible for getting data or feedback in the kind of way a company can through their official channels.
You can't even view in clean chronological formatting.
Work to Game with Brian and Chris might be a good way of seeing if they could ask the question whenever they get a chance to ask something like this to Yoshi-P. I'm not sure if they mainly do streaming, but I watch alot of their YouTube videos and they seem to have talked to Yoshi-P in the past when going to FF conventions. So, whenever they livrstream on their YouTube channel I'll try to get their attention and see if they can ask Yoshi-P and his group on this subject.Other alternatives are to get lucky with a question on the subject during an open Q&A session. I managed to get a couple in over the years, though it's not reliable.
I suppose trying to get a prominent streamer to speak up on the matter could work, though I don't stream myself as I could be easily identified if I did show my face and streamers don't seem to really bother interacting with people who do not stream themselves...
I don't think I could get a Q&A question snagged by the developers and I definitely don't want to start streaming just to get their attention. xD
My thinking is that it isn't the most effective tool, but our community representatives have to be gathering and reporting feedback from somewhere and it appears to be the most active platform on that front.I'm honestly skeptical about the power Twitter threads have over the decisions SE makes for the game. I made a thread in the past asking for our community representatives to priortise this site but it did not receive a response:

My optimistic theory is that they may very well want to be more visible and active but for whatever reason they may not be allowed to.
Will do! That's great to know and explains why we're getting Male Viera and Hrothgar, plus more hairstyles to both races sometime much later in down the line. Those threads regarding those two subjects are massive! xDI cannot remember if it was "most upvoted" or "most replies" per week but I half remember it being said that Yoshi/the team get a summary of the most active forum posts. Can't players just play their preferred gender and RP their character as transgender and 'transitioned' though? And a lot of them, I am one of them, would like to see dresses and other things like the thavnair gear unlocked for males. If only to make it so that things like playing a transgender character is made simpler. Not that I would do so myself, but I bet there are plenty of transgender players that would like to be able to create a character they can relate easily to.

I think the term "genderlock" is weird, it's not like the outfit are always created for the oposite gender aniway the developers just choose to not adapt the outfits. Removing genderlock is not a good idea for the players who want a classic masculine character.
Adapting the outfits takes time, doing it for some of them is understandable but all of them? When they couldn't even make a 9S outfit for nier (equivalent of the 2B i mean) and there is something really close already why not making it for all jobs? The developers are not stupid, they knew players wanted to cosplay 9S as well or at least having something nice for the masculine characters.
Not enough i gess they want to RP as the "guy who transitioned". I don't see the difference but it seem being a guy is very important. Male viera can do that maybe lol idk. I don't understand why ppl don't want to play a girl when they want a feminine character.
But prepare for more "remove genderlocking" threads and twitter asking for that as well.
