If you are FTM, wouldn't you roll a male toon? And MTF would roll a female toon?

I'm honestly confused, especially since I happen to know several people in that scenario, and they play the character genders they feel more in tune with. This includes a family member of mine who plays.

I would love to see the reasoning behind the argument, because so far it doesn't make a single jot of sense.

Depends on how you want to present. The fact that we are discussing it this way just proves they havent done shit to remove the binary.

All they've done is given frilly stockings and sexy feminine looks to male characters (because that's what Kotaku and Polygon will be happiest with) and called it a day. From there they've moved on to giving female characters their Otaku approved Waifu outfits and allowing male characters to wear them.
