This game seriously lacks some cleavage options for females. Surprising since it's Japanese game after all.
I think I can count shirts / dresses with one hand with cleavage. Bad bad bad Square.

Exactly. I remember roughly before the Wedding outfits being gender-unlocked, a Redditor was able to datamine many others, including the maid outfit and the examples shown in the OP, the models being done, but not available just yet. Which I think they might be releasing on drops, maybe to keeping until the female counterparts are adapted (because many are still not). Those are not modded, those are already in the game's files and so are the thavnairian bustier and maid outfit for males. They were all added around the same time as the wedding dress but not released at the same time, some became officially released across the last few patches, some have yet to become available in game. So you're definitely going to end up seeing more traditionally feminine outfit options for men, too bad.
I'm not surprised at some of the foul responses to this thread, though - it is just a reflection of what we see outside of the game with people not wanting to "see" how others choose to express themselves with fashion. Gladly, this doesn't seem to be the mindset of Square Enix, given the fact that we already have a lot of gear these people deem "ridiculous on males", like the Nier Coffer outfit, or the bunny outfits, or being able to use the female version of the collegiate set, among many others.

Listen dude, we already have obnoxious metallic neon green frog suits and unbearably creepy full body rabbit costumes, on top of a fair number of frankly ugly as frick glamours in this game, I really don't see how a beefy dude in a dress is worse than some of the absolute nightmares that are already readily available. Please SE keep things like they are now, i don't wanna see a male muscle mountain like Roaegadyn or Hrothgar roaming around in Miniskirts or Girls dresses and trolling everyone with their sexual diversity. The modded pictures from the OP are more than enough to show everyone why they should avoid something like this at all costs. If you mod your client so that only you can see it yourself its fine, but dont force us to look at something like this. Their is allready enough diversity idiotism in RL going on where i live, i dont need stuff like that in a game that i want to enjoy and relax. Thanks.
Frankly I don't care what godawful disasters other people choose to wear sometimes, I care far more about what I myself get to play digital dress up with. If a Roe in a garishly dyed dress is the price to pay to get my fem miqo into some of the dude's outfits, then I'll sure asf pay it. Some of the female versions of the gender split gear are just flat ugly, and I would LOVE to be able to use the dudes' version of the Makai aiming set. It looks great! And I've wanted Snow's hairstyle since the first time I saw it, but I lasted a cool three weeks playing a male miqo before I got tired of just not having as many good glamour options. Not even in terms of things that are pretty, but just in terms of things that are fun or flattering or cute. Even things that are frankly pretty gender neutral are locked or changed in super bizarre ways.
I mean heck, look at the latest Nier aiming set - it's got a sleek nice fancy-trimmed cloak, with a neat scarf, on female characters, and then on the guys it's got these ugly pouches all over the chest and the cloak is all torn up and ruined. Why??? I can only assume it's based on some Nier character or something, but I've never played Nier so I'm just out here wondering why the girls choice just looks... better??? Like come on, some of these restrictions seem just plain arbitrary.

Apparently the nier coffer for males was done as a joke. Bunny outfit should’ve gotten their own male version, it was a disappointment and lazy addition.
unfortunately this is how it is for a lot of male glams. It's why it irritates me when i see all these people wanting to waste resources on such niche additions when they cant even give males adequate glamours or masculine glams are severely lacking. Lets fix that issue first before wanting them to waste resource on things only a minority will use please and thanks.I mean heck, look at the latest Nier aiming set - it's got a sleek nice fancy-trimmed cloak, with a neat scarf, on female characters, and then on the guys it's got these ugly pouches all over the chest and the cloak is all torn up and ruined. More cleavage for women more abs and pecs for men.
Gotta go equal opportunity with this stuff.

Just because things like the frog and pig suit exist it doesn't necessarily mean that we need more of it or that it's an excuse to further flood the game with such items. Furthermore, a lot of people were against such things or simply do not use them in the first place.
I agree with the poster that suggested a toggle for certain glamour items. There was a thread a while back proposing a glamour blacklist and I believe it would make for an efficient compromise.
Glam what you want to glam, let other people glam what they want. If other people glam something you don't like, that's not really your prerogative or something you should worry about. I don't like the way male characters look in dresses either. But if people playing male characters want to do it, more power to them. My personal tastes should not limit their options.
So much this, those things exist. The suits are immersion killers... this is not something I want to see more of in the future, people may call me a party pooper but I refuse to wear those outfits too.Just because things like the frog and pig suit exist it doesn't necessarily mean that we need more of it or that it's an excuse to further flood the game with such items. Like someone said before, I'd wish they started to actually add more masculine gear for males before they even think about adding more feminine outfits to male characters...

We need more armor with chiseled pecs and abs like the adamantite lorica and the rising/falling dragon chest pieces.

I'm not losing any sleep over it, personally - but such aesthetics were not present in the game to begin with and if people have the ability to petition for them to be added then other people should be granted the ability to petition to hide them if they so wish.Glam what you want to glam, let other people glam what they want. We're not dealing with additions that were added in good faith, either. The development team did not wish to add them and said as much in interviews only to be accused of various horrid things as a result. A similar tactic wielded by some within this very thread.
