We have togas or similar in game and they fit nicely in. We have cross dressing via wedding dress and so on and they make me wish no children/teens would ever play this game
The body type argument sounds really hollow when aside hyurs, miqotes and vieras, the characters in this game tend to have very unrealistic proportions.

I'd actually prefer to see male characters running around in the flimsy dress than see male Miqo'te/Roebro #60798798070 in the summer strap bottoms.

I totally forgot about the fact that this game is rated T for Teens. For them to keep pushing this lifestyle in a game that's rated for underage children is crossing the line. If I had a child and they kept allowing men to wear dresses I would not let them play this game. Underage children should not be exposed to this lifestyle. If I was a parent I want my children to procreate, and I will do everything within my power to unsure my bloodline continues. The promotion of this lifestyle goes against that.

To be fair they have the disclaimer that online interactions are not rated by the ESRB.

    Holy shit.

Allowing male WoL to wear female attire or the other way around would not suddenly cause the world's fertility rate to drop or anything like that. Or causing your, or anyone else's, bloodline to suffer.

Some of you are *really* overthinking this to the point where your 'concern' crosses the line to sound utterly ridiculous.

I have no idea how you could type something like "I will do everything within my power to ensure my bloodline continues" and not blinking about how ridiculous that sounds.

I don't know how difficult it would be for the graphics team to go back and make every piece of gear wearable for both male and female models. For older or less recent gear/outfits, it might be better to request just a select few of them if they are popular and highly demanded enough. However, I think moving forward in end walker and beyond, each piece of gear that comes out should be made available to both female and male models. Of course, I think we should have a wide variety of styles to choose from - feminine, masculine, or whatever - as long as it can be worn by anyone.

This. Having the option to equip the gearset of the other gender does not force you to do so. No-one will force your highlander dude to wear a skirt (unless of course, hes level 15 and just got the foestriker skirt from sastasha or any of the other myriad sets in early game that look the same on both models :P)

Yeah it’ll just come at the cost of many other things no doubt which i’m not so inclined to be happy about. Seeing how much they cut out in this expansion alone, i’d rather not give them more workload that they clearly can’t handle for an obviously niche audience.

Making one set that fits both genders literally saves the workload of designing and texturing a different genderlocked outfit, I genuinely dont understand your argument.

Not really. The easiest job is similar to champions in LoL : one model, clothing integrated as a direct shape of the character. As soon as you do clothes, since you have two genders, you have two basic bodyshapes, it far easier and faster to extract one clothing from each and develop it specifically rather than doing one for both and copy one to another. Just the copy can generate ghost clipping. This because of topology and shape keys (especially since you need to delete as many hidden part as possible to avoid clipping and useless GPU work).
The more HD is topology, the farest topologies are between genders (hips and breast for example).

Normality is just an average. I'm the weird, you're the bizarre.
