Oh that? They didn't do it, it's their game. I was suggesting it but it's clear now, from the benchmark, that they were basically creating what they said they wouldn't create. They basically created 15 year old teenagers. So much for "we will not create underage races in FFXIV."

Someone in an earlier post said something about making a list of specifics we wanted, so here I will go.

1. All racial gear
2. High House set
3. Uraesus set
4. Thavnair Wool set
5. Boulevardier's set
6. Frontier set


to take a break from the crafted sets

7. Edenmete sets, especially the healing ones.
8. Yorha
9. Let's just throw AF sets in here
10. Riviera Doublet
11. Makai sets


and those are my personal wants for relieved restrictions.





Make it make sense.

I can agree with all of these, I'd love to see both the male and female versions unlocked for EVERYONE♡, like the bunny suit.

Top of my list would be
1. Pagos culottes
2. Maid/butler gear
3. Thavnarian bustier set
4. The Omega sets
5. Every White Mage AF set that changes based on gender, but especially the Stormblood set where the top shows off shoulders and chest for ladies but is totally covered for guys.

So we can agree that there is a lack of masculine glam on the grounds that it's locked to male characters, at least? I am on the grounds of if they were to remove the harsh locks, we would see more overall. Not like the devs are unaware that fashion is endgame.

Yeah I can 100% get behind that frustration. I feel it deeply, and really going through that request list made me realize just how many sets I just wouldn't touch with a pole. Went looking at the male version and yikes. I can definitely see where the fear of losing masculine gear comes from now. I'm a healer main and it's rough out here trying not to look like a bride.

Yeah it’s pretty bad for both males and females. The healer and caster gear is typically very feminine and “cutesy” with no deviation from that. They dont alter it much either for the males so i’m basically always using level 1 glams for my healer glams because everything else looks super girly. I hope EW changes that but probably not at this point.

Theodric has the right of it at the start of the thread. It's nice if they get time but it shouldn't be a priority, people just generally aren't all that interested in cross-dressing their characters.

He's also right that the unisex glams do tend to have a distinctly feminine slant to a lot of them.

I don't really care about seeing guys dressed in female outfits, as I find it absolutely hilarious whenever I do see it in game. (A Hrothgar was running around in a pink bunny outfit while I was crafting in Lisa Lomasa on my server. xD), but I would MUCH prefer it if we FIRST got more male themed outfits for males.

Not getting 9S' outfit was indeed a huge disappointment for me. Hell, I'm still mad we never got Emil's head as a freaking glamour piece! But yeah, I want more Male outfits for male characters before Yoshi-P and his crew ever think about even adding female outfits to males.

I was disappointed when male characters just got the female bunny outfit from the gold Saucer. I was hoping they'd get a male equivalent to the female version. You know, topless male bunny outfit with either only a pair of stylized pants, shorts, underwear with the Bunny cuffs, a pair of fancy dress shoes and their own version of the bunny ears. No homo, btw. Just saying. :/

Thank you for this. This is essentially what i’ve been trying to say and yeah they’ve been lazy with male glams for awhile now numerous times. I don’t see it changing in the future though with the uproar of genderlocks. More resources and thought will most likely be put towards that than trying to implement more things for the males.
