Unisex stuff looks like drek 99% of the time. As does a man in a feminine clothing like a skirt. It's just not flattering. More masculine glams please.

Seconded. It looks atrocious.
When the game's story becomes self-aware:
Outside of the first couple of rows, the rest are literally extremely feminine. Hell, this expansion they literally gave the male tomestone gear a female outfit. They literally just copy and pasted rydia's dress and barely made any alterations to it and said here guys, enjoy. When multiple people say we need more masculine gear im inclined to agree with it lol.Hard disagree, with added link to gear sets as evidence. Sure some of the lower level sets are fugly robes, and White Mage Class Sets tend towards the frilly, for the most part Males wearing magic based gear sets look fairly masculine.
edit:
Meanwhile a look at crafted glamour sets on females, sure a few dresses, but the majority are pants and shirts
To be fair, we're arguing mostly role based glams now. Healing gear is and will always (sadly) be extremely feminine. Just like how tanking gear will always be very masculine. This is how SE envisions the roles and I don't see that changing.Outside of the first couple of rows, the rest are literally extremely feminine. What we can ask for is cosmetics to alleviate this, which is the thread topic.
You're going to have to be specific, besides 2 white mage sets, none of the caster clothing looks feminine to me on a male character, yes a lot of robes, but men have been wearing robes historically a lot longer than women ever have. The most feminine look not a white mage look is one Black Mage set which is fugly as all hell, and that one is not a gendered look just a fugly one.Outside of the first couple of rows, the rest are literally extremely feminine. Oh and the one Healer set with the Helm of fugly mouths from level 50 tower.
This bothered me greatly. The dress is amazing. Everything about it is just so right. Meanwhile the men look so stuffy and over-burdened. Both are cool though, just wish I had the dang dress.
I don't considering myself bi or gay in an absolute sense, but I do enjoy feeling feminine. Better yet, I enjoy being whatever gender I want to be from a male-originating perspective. I want androgyny dangit. That means I want male and female clothes on my character.
Square, stop genderizing gear.
The eden ones for example. You're going to have to be specific, besides 2 white mage sets, none of the caster clothing looks feminine to me on a male character, yes a lot of robes, but men have been wearing robes historically a lot longer than women ever have. And edit: Nothing femm about the Eden's sets, one is a Early Renaissance men's coat and pants with a goofy hat (Eden's Verse), and the other is a Battle Mage look with a long coat (Eden's Gate), the healer set on Edens gate is Roman inspired, although I listed it as girly on my count, it's actually based on historical western men's clothing.
I was meaning, look at everything, and point out what is or is not girly.
Here I went through every caster look on a male, and rated them as I saw them.
Male caster sets counting: 1-80

Word! Alternatively, I want the female version of those leggings, so I could fully realize a better jester outfit using the Evenstar coat! For me, I honestly don't care what people are. I'm a girl and I wanted 9S outfit too.
I just think people should be able to wear whatever they please in my honest opinion. Peoples sexuality on the matter doesn't matter to me as they're just clothes.
Here's another example of something I want, the male version of this:
Shirt > Dress.
But I agree that the waistcoat being available to girls is a really attractive prospect too.
