Audio disconnecting and reconnecting constantly

So I've been having this problem for a few weeks now and am really out of ideas on what to do to fix it and was wondering if anyone else has encountered this before. My problem is that for whatever reason my headset (Razer Kraken Kitty) will disconnect itself from my computer entirely, play through my monitor, and then reconnect a second after. It could happen once or multiple times at seemingly random times. Sometimes it freezes my game and turns the RGB settings on my keyboard and mouse back to default.

I've checked for updates on my computer, headset and the razer synapse stuff but nothing seems to fix it. I think it will be fine then it goes back to disconnecting and reconnecting again. The part that makes me think this is an issue on the FFXIV side and not my headset is this problem ONLY happens when I play FFXIV. I've been playing other games or using YouTube and not once has this problem happened. I ended up letting my sub run out since it's unbearable to play with this happening constantly and I really don't know what to do

I have also been encountering this for the last few months. I thought this was a discord issue as I would disconnect/reconnect during raids while on VC. I have troubleshooted everything razer themselves has suggested and found no issues; until I open final fantasy XIV. I'm on a MSI Leopard pro laptop also with razer kraken kitty headphones. This is unbearably annoying when playing as when I disconnect I basically can't get sound back until I re-open the game. The headphones connect via usb and not through the headphone jack.

Sound enhancements and surround sound are off, this must be an issue on SE's end.

I have the same issue and it's not discord related because it also happens while my discord is turned off.

We would like to gather a system report of your PC (i.e. programs and hardware configuration) to see what might be causing the problem. Go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display'. Copy and paste the details shown and reply back with those specifics.

I have since changed hardware completely; and final fantasy is still having issues with only my razer kraken kitty headphones.

I would love to hear if there has been any updates on this; I would happily use my razer headset if I did not have to switch headset every time I open FFXIV. such a pain in the bum
