Levelling alt-jobs doesn't take months.
Simply having a higher level job means the lower get XP gain. You have food buff, FC-XP buff, ring + earring items that give you +XP below certain levels (with the latest earrings from Endwalker pre-order being usable up to level 80), daily roulette spam, Khloe Journal (which practically gave me a whole level for what I'm levelling right now - which was 60 at the time - with me 4% from 71 the next day just chilling in max-level dungeon spam.
That doesn't include other activities - Gangos, PotD/HoH, first-time completion of dungeons/trials as a new job, synced dungeons, the job questlines, and whatever tonne of other things I'm missing.

With all that in mind, the last thing you should do is ask other people what they think you might like -- because they're not you and will never know. People can maybe tip the balance if you're on the fence via certain info (like playstyles), but really, only you will know what you'll end up liking. I never thought in a million years I'd like Black Mage, yet it easily because a firm favourite whenever I want to dish damage. I main a Healer, yet I have 3 max-level tanks and Dark Knight at level 50 after a day of chilling. I play whatever depending on my mood rather than worry about a 'main', which I'd only really consider if I was constantly pushing in Extreme/Savage/Ultimate, and even then you can still flex with jobs.
This is a game where you should think less about "Which SINGLE class will I like" -- >>> replace that with "Let me try them all and see which ones takes my fancy". If you like one now, use that to push the MSQ, then use experimentation to pass the time. See what the other jobs feel like to you. Maybe one will take over as your new main, maybe one won't.
Do bear in mind that, being an MMORPG, classes will also change over time. What you might not like now, you may have liked before, or a different version in the future. It's why you should just dabble between jobs once you have the MSQ complete and experiment.
