Besides what has already been stated by others about the point of Legacy achievments being exclusive as a thank you for 1.0 players who stuck with the original game right when SE needed the support (like the Legacy Campaign as well), another reason why you will not see the likes of Legacy achievements like Cartographer coming back is because the content that rewarded them does not exist anymore.
Some have been replaced by equivelant ARR rewards (or near enough), but a significant portion are connected to old defunct 1.0 content like Behests and the Seventh Umbral Era events that are gone forever and do not exist in ARR, or factional levequest achievements connected to the old 1.0 areas (many of the aetheryte camps that these achievements were connected to do not exist anymore in ARR and even factional levequests for the factions like Azeyma's Shields were removed too).
Ironically the achievement for defeating Nael van Darnus's hard mode fight in 1.0 sums it up best: attaining 1.0's achievements and completing it's content really was Once in a Lifetime! And it is clear it is never coming back.

Well it would entirely depend on the goal of that conversation, as you might imagine. I've merely stated my opinion and viewpoint on the 1.x exclusive achievements and titles and on 'legacy' status as a whole, and defended that opinion and viewpoint while accepting that it is not a popular outlook, nor is it shared by the developers.
I do not realistically expect anything meaningful related to this to change, nor do I respect being told that it is an objectively wrong viewpoint to have, but I have offered that opinion. If people engage with that opinion, I'm very happy to offer my thoughts about them

If you don't have to be respectful, then why should anyone care about what you respect?
You objectively have a wrong viewpoint. The sinking ship was going down, and the players stayed on it, bailing out water just as hard as they could. The ship still sails today, because of that. I notice you are on the ship now. Why do you expect to be honored in the same way, when you can in no way replicate what 1.0 players did?
Because that's what the legacy items and titles are, really. They're an honor to those players that helped keep the game afloat. It's true that all achievements then and now are busy work of sorts, trivial as you put it, but 1.0's are an honor status because they symbolize love for the game from its start. You've gone as far as saying that you look down on 1.0, so why would you even desire something that symbolizes love for it?
Get over yourself.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore

Well, I only got one title from the achievement from 1.x ("Geölter Blitz") , because they were extremely hard to get.
I remember calculating the time it would take to get the leve-achievement. It was round about 10 years, if you played every one.
Leves took way more time than today.
My title comes from chocobo curier mission, which I farmed a lot to get these chocobo clothes.
Today its so easy to get them. Just like Colosseum clothes, crystal weapons and af1. I remember wiping through the dungeons only to get that one piece

Ah, there's the smug sense of superiority paired with the last parting shot. You may revel in your ten year old achievements at your leisure, safe and secure in the knowledge that I, a clearly inferior Gamer, will never get the achievement for mapping the west shroud

It's par for the course. People always ask for things they didn't earn. Like Legacy titles and tattoos. Watch the next thread ask for legacy sub discount to come back.
They do drop some 1.x stuff in the game from time to time. Music scrolls, an earring a few years back. It's just what it is, there are many titles and mounts today that are very exclusive and cannot be earned again. Feast yearly championship titles is one example.

But the thing here is that the things keeping them from being earned again vary from 'the content just isn't in the game any more' to 'nothing.' I don't imagine anyone actually expects to have all of the 1.x content titles dropped into their mailbox one day with no fanfare, but having the ability to do something of equal investment to be able to still earn them now isn't an outrageous idea.
Kinda like why you ain't get, for example, <notorious monster hunter> for killing 25 different notorious monsters. I don't have the ability to go back ten years, but I do know I've killed every NM in Eureka at least once and the reward for that could have simply been that title instead of bupkis. There's nothing intrinsic to the title itself that makes it 'legacy.'

The idea that you can do something similar in value to reap the same rewards isn't preposterous. .. however you will likely never get the opportunity to blindly support a failing game without the promise of a "new" game again within FFXIV.
You have missed your opportunity and the conditions are extremely unlikely to be duplicated.
Even further the choice to do this with NO PROMISE OF ANY REWARDS... is gone, since you would be expecting rewards, the whole "thank you" part is moot.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
