How to deactivate my account?

I don't want to play FFXIV anymore, and I want to deactivate my account including my subscription. Any idea how?

Violate section 3.3 and a GM will do all the work for you.

if you use steam, go into the game settings, remove payment method and deactivate.

if you use SE go into mogstation, under Manage Service Options you can deactivate your subscription and account.

1: click "Manage Service Options"
2: then click "Cancel Service Account" just under your Service Account Status

If your wish to perma delete your account just go through the normal process for deleting your square enix account.

ESO have an amazing atmosphere and lore too...unfortunately i didn't liked that much because the progression is excessively free..i don't feel like a real progress, lol.

What ambiguous lore? We're partway through the story still; it would be stranger if there weren't still some unsolved mysteries.

I alternate between both FFXIV and ESO, personally. FFXIV scratches my itch in terms of combat, though I've been disappointed with the direction of the story for a while now, especially with the excessive hero worship, the lack of lasting consequences for the protagonists, the Scions and City State leaders overstaying their welcome and genuinely compelling/morally grey characters being shuffled away/killed off.

ESO simply has a bigger, more immersive game world to me. I don't like the combat nearly as much in it, though. So FFXIV wins on that front. (Though at the same time, being able to sneak around and steal stuff from NPC's is pretty satisfying and something I wish we could do in FFXIV...)
