Blue Mages need to solo access Deep Dungeons

I know Blue Mage is been quite a controversial subject, but I personally feel pretty satisfied on how it works, so I won't be mentioning whether would be good or not it becoming a "mainstream" job.

The big issue (for me) though, is the longevity of the job's actual repeatable content.

Masked Carnivale and the Blue Mage "PF" Log are flawed, because for - endgame content category - they have pretty niche goals, practical use and rewards. Deep Dungeons, however, would be the perfect candidate for a repeatable activity for the soloing Blue Mage.

    1) It's not a predictable solo activity like Masked Carnivale, you need to be constantly thinking and adapting and figuring out what is the best composition of spells to bring, given that they probably wouldn't be able to be swapped on the go.

    2) There are a ton of random rewards to be obtained with the pomanders of Intuition. That by itself is already a really cool reason to push through the floors. Even right now, some of the relic weapon steps are tied to deep dungeons, I would totally be getting those there, even at a lower rate, with a Blue Mage rather than running those endless Delubrums.

    3) Blue Mages could have their own scoreboard and soloing achievement, so it wouldn't invalidate the other job's soloing attempts; in fact, they would probably still be much harder, given the limited utility.

Beyond that, I really don't think that group content is bad for the job - it's really fun, for example, to push through the achievement to get the mount - but I'd love if they kept true to the inital idea and really made more Blue Mage's content that is tailored for the solo player, and content with longer shelf life.

The thing about adding BLU to the deep dungeons is that even if you gave it its own solo category/achievement, in order to make the Deep Dungeon itself difficult for BLU they'd have to rework it.

As it stands currently, BLU would completely destroy PoTD/HoH, as it has access to Basic Instinct which makes it essentially have Steel and STR pomanders in effect without actually having them (Actually more powerful than them). Imagine what happens when it gets to stack those on top. It wouldn't be effortless, but it'd be so much easier than doing it with literally any other job.

The thing about BLU is that it doesn't have to approach mechanics or anything in the same way as other jobs. For instance, in Midas Savage there's a group stack attack called Enumeration. It has a random 2 to 4 player tell inside of a circle. A single BLU can cast Diamondback and merely get a damage down stack while living through the damage.

For the bosses in PoTD BLU meets all damage checks by itself. Mechanically the bosses aren't that bad either, and with Basic Instinct and Healer Mimicry, a single Pom Cure will heal a BLU to full HP in a single cast, so stuff like the 180 Behemoth would be an absolute joke. The 190 boss as well, since BLU could set Perpetual Ray and ignore it building stun resistance, letting it ignore the Red Bomb.

I mean, don't get me wrong. I'd love for BLU to have access, because I'd love to absolutely crush it. I just want you to understand that it wouldn't be as challenging as you think. In all seriousness the only way to give BLU content with a long shelf life is to make more stuff that is BLUcentric, like another type of Masked Carnivale or make BLU its own, separate deep dungeon entirely. Which I mean, I would also be all for, but it's rather unlikely since BLU is at the bottom of the dev team's priority list.

But that's usually how it goes, content eventually becomes easier and more accessible over time and its not like blu will be able to face roll it either, 200 potd as a blu will still require planning. Hell if you wanna be cheeky, why not add a spell into Potd 190 or HoH 90 or Eureka. Blu spells are mostly replaceable with each other so having the average blu miss 1 spell is not gonna break the class.

Personally i'd love to see blu get more content, deep dungeon and also eureka and BA and once EW drops Bozja would make sense. Blu basically already recycles the content we don't do anymore so this is imo a pretty good idea.

As of right now Blu is only alive for about 2 weeks when the level is increased and new spells are added.

    Totally agree with that.

Also, BLU would NOT destroy the Balance in Eureka and BA, so he is variable there too.
But why you might now ask.
Eureka levels is the balancing part. You can't 1 shot face roll the important things, because they have by default a higher level then you.
And every other class can face roll already everything that's below your elemental level.
For the logos action's the BLU is limited to caster action's.
He probably will be the best caster but I don't think he will be able to beat a double edge WAR/ melee.
He also don't have a weapon with elemental stats, so that's reducing his again a bit, compared to other full equipped classes.

Ultimates are also a BLU option, but with the warning that it will not give any rewards (maybe a hidden archivement) and it's potentially impossible to clear with BLU only.

Bluemage pvp first please, i wanna see 48 bluemages nuke each other to oblivion. But seriously the free choice of your actions could be really fun for at least duels, dunno why we can't use the duel arena with bluemage. <.<

    Fair.

Shouldn't be hard to tweak current achievements to non-Blu only.
There is no point in playing BLU currently, None.

Morbol exists. Also you get a lot of BLU specific titles. There's 4 Triple Triad cards, a Cute Justice minion and an emote.
