Delete Balmung and Mateus
I'm going to be selfish and say "give minfilia her deserved proper development, instead of introducing new character who's more emotionally related to thancred than us anyway. Oh, and kill off g'raha in 5.3".
Minfilia not having a scene of her own and is sacrificed for ryne, for me, was the devs went "hey hey guys, look we finally kill the npc you hate. Love us pls". If they aren't brave enough to develop her or don't care enough, I preferred they didn't show her at all rather than... what happened in ShB.
And also, maybe have the team develop mystic knight/spellblade job as melee dps, and chemist as the next healer (yes I'm still sad it turns into sage).
1. Add a leech mount to the game
2. Give the 'Living Dead' skill the rework it's always deserved
3. Add a in-game hunt tracker for S ranks, limited to only telling whether their minimum CD has been breached
4. Change the Wol featured in promotional content to a fish
5. Hand leadership back to Yoshi and co and sincerely thank them for allowing my dreams to be more than dreams
I'd porbably ruin the game if I had control over it.
But I'd love to see a glamour revamp and a global chat. I really miss that kind of chat from other MMOs.
Thank, self-proclaimed arbiter of what is right and wrong.this kind of thread proves that plebs cannot and should not be in charge of ideas.
you can throw money and more time at a problem - you will have a lack of manpower because there just won't be enough talent to fill it.
you can throw people and money at a problem - you will run into a lack of time because it will take time to train said people and get them up to snuff. you want to keep this game on a schedule right?
you can throw time and people at a problem - you will run into a lack of money. it doesn't grow on trees and shareholders/CEO's aren't just going to let you do what you want however you want.
We have a forum so we can say what we think about a given subject. I don't expect SE take everything at face value but feedback to work off of as a game designer goes a long way as to not become tone deaf. So far SE has done a great job if numbers are anything to go by but that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. Should go without saying. It also doesn't mean 'reee, implement it right away!'
Hire Yoshida and tell him to take control.
1. Make the market board work like the WoW auction house,. One interface, no retainers, and just walk away from any menu to close,
2. Get rid of all the unnecessary confirmation clicks. If I click in a door to open it, why do I have to click again. If it was accidental, it only takes a couple seconds to return.
3. Make it much easier to buy and start the game. I nearly gave up on the game while trying to figure that part out.
4. Shorten the AFK timeout so we don't get server full announcements all the time.
5. Don't ask for the authenticator code if your computer / IP address hasn't changed. Should not have to enter the code every time (Like WoW again.)
6. Instanced housing plots. Only one ward in each area, which would result in may more players out in the neighborhood, instead of being spread across 24 wards.
7. Greatly increase success rate for overmelding. Make it 20 % or higher.
8. Let players kill the gil spammers. If over 100 different accounts report the same spammer, they get shut down automatically.

I would make a new dungeon based on a reimagined version of the Castrum Novum raid from 1.0: It would be a distorted version of the original Castrum + the Voidsent appearances from the last moments of the game. The first boss may be something Garlean, while the second would be a Voidsent (perhaps an Atomos, or a "Sourced" version of Raktapaksa since Ifrit and Garuda were the Primals who appeared back then). The final boss would be the original Nael van/deus Darnus fight at Rivenroad (the armored White Raven, not the wyrm-like form from Second Coil), reworked but bringing back mechs like the "destroy comets upstairs" thing.
Of course it would be an optional dungeon, since it would be like a "retold memory dungeon", similar to the distorted Bozja from Cid's memories, but for 4 players instead of just solo.
¿The rewards? Garlean armor (Gaius for Tanks, Regula for MNK/SAM, Nael for DRG/RPR, Livia for NIN, Nero for BRD/MCH/DNC, Valens for Casters, New one for Healers), and White Raven minion. x3 The theme, a new version of Steel Reason.
Yeah, I'm enthralled by Nael, they is my Primal. xD
Sorry if my english is bad... NAEL VAN DARNUS FOR DISSIDIA!!

1. Copy WoW's transmog system IMMEDIATELY
2. Create a leaderboard for every single dungeon in the MMO that is done on min ilvl
3. Add a special achievement for completing raids on min ilvl with an EPIC mount at the end
4. Revamp the Mogstation from 1999 set-up and made it current
5. Nuke the entire world and get rid of this massive amount of instancing that is killing the open world feel of the MMO
6. Actually stop ignoring the rampant use of addons and make a clear policy on which ones are allowed and which ones are not.
7. Allow people to 1v1 dual wherever they are at in the world
8. DELETE the current pvp system and start over from the ground up
9. Add the pvp vendor to every single major city and allow people to buy glamours that were discontinued from prior feast seasons
10. Either hire some voice actors or grab some people around the office and voice every single MSQ quest in ARR, Heavensward, Stormblood and Shadowbringers.
11. Add the 1.0 Lore to the New Game+ menu and stop relying on a 7 year old Youtube video to explain lore that is CLEARLY referenced in ARR multiple times.
