This is the only proper choice. The examples given so far in this topic show exactly why we players should NOT be able to control a games development.

I may not post much but I do lurk a lot. I see tons of people always suggesting ideas for the game, and it's pretty rare that one of them isn't a terrible idea.

As for me, I'd put out a survey to every subscriber asking them to make a choice: We can either stop developing new content for awhile to upgrade the game itself (database etc) which would allow the game to do a heck of a lot of the things that the players are asking for that simply can't be done at the moment, or keep doing things as usual.
