Any Way the Wind Blows is a terrible event

And I don't say that because I'm 'bad at it' - there's no way to be bad or good at AWtWB.

I say it because it's most thoroughly disengaging, disappointing, and boring GATE event. You can literally do NOTHING and perform just as well as if you mashed the sprint button down and pirouetted your way around the stage. It's utterly non-user-dependent content, and it's over in <60 seconds.

This is also coming from someone who really enjoys The Slice is Right, and wishes we saw more of it (or more GATE content in general, rather than the almost endless repetition of a cycle of Air Force One [horrid] and Leap of Faith [tolerable]). Unlike AWtWB, Slice is largely (though not entirely) skill-based, lasts a decent amount of time, and is actually pretty fun to watch even if you didn't get there in time. Critically, it's thoroughly interactive, asking for user interaction and attention during all the phases. AWtWB isn't. Ever. And that's why it's dumb.

When they added The Slice is Right, they should have removed Any Way the Wind Blows, and kept Skin Change We Can Believe In.

To each their own. I like Any Way the Wind Blows, but I kinda wish they'd reduce the amount leap of faith pops.

I'd prefer it be changed into some kind of memorization Simon Says puzzle. Like Typhon does 1-2 moves/poses signaling a specific effect and you have to dodge them after he does them in order shortly after. Then each round up it until you have to memorize 5 in a row or something.

A lot of us spend a ton of time in the saucer. While it isn't quite neglected content, it definitely doesn't get the attention it deserves considering the amount of player hours spent there.

Yeah, I only really go to the saucer for challenge log and sometimes to goof around, and 8/10 times it's Leap of Faith or Air Force One. If I didn't know better, I'd think those 2 are the only gates left.

They explained why Time of Your Life went away. With more new races being added to the game there physically wasn't enough room for all the NPCs.
