Are roulettes "worth using" beyond the daily?

I've found I really enjoy doing trinity content with a bard, and in the 60's where my squadron is no longer viable, where I wait to join my trusts in shadowbringers, even the most efficient deep dungeon spam can get old.

How meaningful is the XP progress of the various roulette options *beyond* their daily extra rewards, and is one of them (I would rather not spam alliance raids) more efficient than the others on this front? I don't mind waiting in queue, as I'm re-watching old cinematics, but if these aren't "meant" to be spammed, I'd rather know up front.

They aren't worth using without the daily because you could get a very low level dungeon that gives less experience than if you queue for the dungeon closest to your level.

There may be an exception to this which is if the adventurer in need bonus is for your role. You could check if these rewards make it worth it for you.

During the recent Moogle Festival event I was in the process of leveling my first character Job, BLM, and wound up running a LOT of Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium for tomestones.

It turns out those places are worth buckets of XP (especially Praetorium), so I wound up jumping up in levels way faster than I intended, lol. I hit lvl.80 just as I finished the Heavensward storyline, so that may work well for you if you're looking for something chill that you can spam easily.

It isn't using the roulette per se, but regardless the XP gains from those places are impressive.

Edit: After reading Jeeqbit's response, I agree with him; it does seem like roulette's aren't worth repeating daily unto itself since my own suggestion is specifically about not doing that, lol

Nah not really, I get very bored of deep dungeon myself so prefer dungeons. Queuing for the highest dungeon you can access is much more exp over time than a roulette without daily bonus.

So, I'm hopeful but confused here, as I the MSQ roulette (which does draw only from the praetorium and castrum meridianum) are a content type I wouldn't mind spamming, but did you say that you ran them multiple times per day and still got sizeable chunks of XP per run?

Like I just ran Tam tara on the daily leveling roulette and yeah, the kill XP was nonexistant but the roulette XP hit was obviously notable. I wouldn't want to spam this roulette for the kill XP, even augmented by my XP earring, but if the MSQ events are decent XP beyond the daily I might give that a go.

They sure are fun! But you can make your own mini roulette by choosing the top five highest exp dungeons for you, once you've already done the daily.

No. There is no gameplay reason to rollo after daily.

Eh, not really. After your roulettes are done it is kinda pointless to queue for them again unless you have something specific you are trying to do.
