WAR next beastmaster. I like the animation honestly. 9/10, weapon disappearing feels a little off. Otherwise would be 10/10 in my book.
If you told me this wasn't warrior I'd think it was a new skill for monk.
It looks cool nevertheless.



The axe disappearing and reappearing is pretty bad, yeah.
Here's hoping it's just unfinished.

It looks like the WAR is throwing his axe in the air then catching it towards the end of the animation. The ending bit of it seems more recognizable that this is what he doing as opposed to the beginning of it.

Why is the warrior attacking without it's weapon to begin with? Is that normal?
EDIT; Also, that does look like perhaps a animation test.

I imagine it will probably get canceled out by another action since animation clipping is so prevalent in this game but yea it looks pretty odd by by itself with how the axe just appears, and hopefully there's some transition to grabbing the axe before/after the punches instead of just appearing. In gameplay it might not be noticeable but idk. Regardless the skill does look cool and I'm getting Kratos GoW vibes from those punches.


My gripe, and it’s been stated, is not the fact it’s beating the tar out of something with its fists. I love that actually, but I agree with the axe just disappearing feels....weird and bad. Like have it appear on our backs during the animation or better yet have the warrior stab it into the ground and yank it out after the pummeling ends(wishful thinking I know)

Not to sound mean but if you want some DBZ punching, monk is there, don’t ignore monke.
A jab is fine, but if this will be part of the main rotation it will be indeed weird. Why jab when you can slice with a huge axe?
I agree with OP the idea itself does feel a bit off for the axewielding warrior

This is exactly what I want.
