I don't have road to 70 buff

New player here. For some reason I do not have the road to 70 buff on my character, is there any way I can get this buff because its pretty demoralizing seeing everyone on the same quest as me be 4-5 levels above me. I really enjoy this game, best mmo I've played in a while, and the community seems great. It just sucks that it feels like I'm way behind everyone else at the same point in the game as me.

You didn’t make a character on a preferred server (The server with the little star)

It's applied to people who make a character on a Preferred world and expires after 90 days.

You aren't missing out, really. It causes you to be double the level of your main quest. Being double the level of your main quest is pointless because you do not have access to any content above the level of your main quest.

It's also very easy to get experience in this game and to level alt classes. It's so easy that it just doesn't matter what experience buffs you do or don't have because when it's that easy, it doesn't matter that much if you have to spend a little extra time to level or not.

It also provides double XP for FATEs, hunts, leveling dungeon roulettes, Crafting and Gathering through level 70 as well. You have to look for the Star next to the name of the world you choose (and you don't have to accept the default world chosen for you). It works for every job until it expires, or they all reach 70.

It can become a bit frustrating killing mobs for a quest that is now 10 levels below your own, with no XP being earned [hence, multiple jobs being leveled at the same time]. You're also kinda stuck in ARR once you hit level 50, since you can level into the upper 50s before getting anywhere near Heavensward because of the Main Scenario Quests.

As said in other posts, you don't really need the boost to get your first job through the MSQ. In fact, you can level entirely through the XP gained from the MSQ (which includes the dungeons and trials). MSQ XP is pretty fast, coupled with FATEs you'll run across, hunts, etc. It also feels more natural to go through the instances "at level" rather than over-leveling them by (as much as) 15 levels.

I remade a toon on another server. I was doing the MSQ and side quests and out leveled the MSQ by 10+ levels.

Thanks for the replies. I guess its not that bad then, I just thought I was missing out because everyone who has the buff seems to be outleveling me.
