I have been stuck on another world for hours now. FC members can log in faster from 700 queues than I can get back and that makes no sense at all. I want to go home![]()

The game has actually grown that much in the last 2 months.
Lucky Bancho says the game has grown by 250,000 people to 1.2 million. Steam statistics have jumped from their previous peak of 40,000 at Shadowbringers release to 60,000 now. Every other statistic is showing similar things.
They originally said that players using world visit would have priority getting back to their home worlds.
Maybe it's time that was actually implemented.
In the last patch didn't they add the ability to change your world on login? Right click your character on the login screen and it should give you the ability.
Considering OP wrote "World Visit" it's likely safe to assume that they mean exactly this: world visit, where OP tries to get back to their Home World from another one while being still in game. Changing world from log in screen won't help in this case because it's supposed to log you on a random world that is less loaded at the moment, and if OP spent more than an hour trying to get back there - it's pretty obvious that they won't be logged on their Home World if they pick new log-in option. Chances are they will end on the same server they're currently on.
So basically, I should avoid traveling for shopping purposes during prime time. But yeah, there's not a whole lot that can be done about that short of disabling the feature entirely.
There is a reason YoshiP started the live letter last week saying they acknowledged the flood of new players lately and are spending millions on expanding the servers even if it can't all be done in time for 6.0.
As you can't just plug in more racks overnight and expect everything to be jive. This kind of stuff takes months of planning, and then they have to consider adding new worlds, expanding the server code for lobbies, and hopefully cut down the queues in this process. Just a lot of resources but I'm glad he put it out there.
