I don't see this at all and I've spent a lot of time in novice networks.
Yes, mentors who spend time in the Novice Network see new players questions all of the time and answer them.
There are always those who will harass or discriminate for whatever reason.
"Hey, free trial leech too cheap to pay for the game, I don't want you in my group"
We don't need a special free trial icon to encourage that sort of thing.
Most answers are going to be relevant whether someone is free trial or not. It's mainly use of chats and MB along with ability to join a FC that would be different. The free trial player is always free to clarify that they are free trial if the normal answer isn't working for them.
Can vary by the world you played on. I was in the NN with an alt on a data center other than Crystal and that NN got plenty toxic at times.
But it's not really NN that would be the problem. It's the general player base. I don't think SE would be able to flag players differently just within NN chat.

You obviously don't spend enough time in Novice Network. Either this, or NN on your server is so loaded with useless off-topic that new players stopped bothering asking questions becuase it will just drown in other messages or get negative attention instead of an answer. OP is from Ragnarok, and as somebody who's from the same DC and used to play on same server as well for several years before transferring to Spriggan - yes, new players here do ask questions, and usually even get their answers. Is "new players asking for help" even a thing in this game? I've been a mentor for some years now and might have been approached for advice on something like once. People don't want advice in this game - They just want positive feedback of "Yes dear everything you're doing is just fine, you're amazing."
