just because other games do it, such as lets say WoW, doesnt make it a better system.

in fact, seeing where WoW is now, I would say it hasnt helped them a lot. just means a period of time before official launch where you can be upset and complain about the changes on the forum... unlike WoW, in here, you wont be "behind" missing that level up period, just enjoy the game as always.

I mean, let's be honest, pre-patch releases are the least of WoW's problems these days.

This approach will allow people to tinker around with new jobs in preparation, and most importantly to dive into the new expansion with the new jobs.
Thus avoiding the situation where the player is forced to grind for 2-3 days straight for that 10 levels.

also... might I point out... no one is "forced" to grind. thats personal choice. unlike WoW for example, where that grinding typically also serves to power up their latest flavour of expansion weapon, that is not a thing here. missing a day there can be detrimental... thats not the case here thus far, which is a welcome change personally. if you feel the urge to run to cap, thats your choice, and something you personally set to hang over your head. not everyone feels that way. just saying...

This isn't WoW. The new jobs are built into the actual expansion. Releasing the jobs without the expansion would remove the story elements to have it make sense. We do not even have a clue how you get Repear and Sage is going to be in the new zone we think.

Reaper will be unlockable in Ul'dah.
Can't remember if I've heard about Sage though.

I don't think they ever again will add new jobs in a non-ARR area.

I agree with concept but not in principle. I wouldn't mind to see job changes say one or two month before launch. I would really like to see world event prior to launch of 6.0. For example: We need FATE that mirror what we saw in the trailer.

the only reason i‘d wish for this is because i could proceed doing the story quests and dungeons with friends as a sage!
