Suggestions for Mogstation restrictions.

I was recently watching a youtube series and a player that migrated from WoW made a character, leveled it to level 18, then went to the Mog Station and bought a character boost and then purchased a skip through of ARR content.

Said youtuber then went and made a video claiming that the FFXIV story sucks; though he never played it.

This is not the first time I have seen this activity. One of my friends IRL did the same thing and decided he didn't like the game. He didn't go to the lengths that the youtuber did, but its a similar situation.

My suggestion is to lock the player leveling boost and story progression boosts to having at least one character to level 80. That way players will have to play the game for the true experience and not cheat the system and give Crap reviews.

Nah, people like him (who obviously do not belong here) should have the freedom to give FFXIV some free money and propaganda, since everyone is now making memes of him due to how evident his lies are.

And on a more personal note, I'm just glad that this kind of wow player has no interest in the game, even tho i just started on FFXIV very recently his kind is one of the (many) reasons i grow tired of wow over the years.

out of sight out of mind is great, however not all players are nefarious like Quin.

I think its just a shame that new players pop in and can skip content or boost a character without ever experiencing just how amazing FFXIV is. By restricting it Players who hit 80 have already experienced the story and other content, if they want to boost alts, and then boost them through content i dont see an issue. But a new player being able to do same is just setting them up for failure.
