Is it possible we could ever get Steam achievements added for FFXIV?

Hello all.


I noticed recently that the Playstation 5 version of FFXIV has a wide variety of trophies obtainable through gameplay, ranging from simple objectives such as finishing ARR, to completing Eden's Promise on Savage. I was wondering if it is possible we could ever get these trophies added as Steam achievements for achievement hunters?

As the trophies already exist for Playstation it would not take much work to port them over to Steam, and as there is a surge of new players heading to FFXIV I feel it would be an excellent way to serve as a 'guide' for what content players could work towards that they might not otherwise. As I mentioned earlier, it would also be really nice for owners on Steam to be able to 100% collect every achievement in FFXIV, as I doubt I am the only one who enjoys showcasing my achievement collections from my favoured games. I also know multiple achievement hunters personally who are very dedicated to collecting achievements and won't play any other games that have them.

They exist in game, but I agree it would be nice for Steam to reflect this too.
