    Oh yeah.
Especially after 78 you unlock a trait where your spells require no cast time while under the effect of Requiescat.
Paladin's burst window being instant cast ranged attacks is very fun and cool and leads to a lot of freedom during boss fights. It is fun to optimize the placement of your burst to give the boss the biggest middle finger you can when it thinks it can make you disengage for a bit.

The tank that I find the most fun changes over time, but based on what you said your best bets are Gunbreaker and Paladin.

Gunbreaker is the most fast paced tank and it has decent utility (you can apply a regen, a damage reduction buff and a shield on someone else). Paladin is not that fast paced, but is king of party utility.

I’m a tad strapped for time so my gameplay is limited and don’t really have an option to level them all up so thought I’d make a post here and see what you guys all think.

I’m really not concerned as to which is the most viable or desired, it’s all about the fun.

    Cheers
    It’s very subjective really!!

Most would say Gunblade because it’s straightforward, feels like dps, it looks cool & has amazing animations.

Some would beg to differ & appreciate Dark Knight’s due to its rythm of dark magic, cosmetic dark appearance & its abilities seems both dynamic & enjoyable with a nice looking two handed sword.

Warrior feels very sayan/berserk/reckless fighter that has amazing self heals & its dps cleavage feels amazing & you get this euphoria of feeling dominant & fearless with a giant wielding axe.

Paladin feels chivalrous & has far many open defensives with some magical dps / heals to both self & others that can act out as an emergency healer + hollow ground your life saver.

I don’t want to convince you nor give any negative thoughts on my other cousin tank jobs since we act distinctly different yet pertaining great wonders each in our own ways.

Feel free to look up guides on youtube friend!

The most visually fun for me is Warrior hands down. I love it so much, but the one I’ve been playing more of than any tank lately has been DRK.

I kind of take offense to this. I knew what the old DRK was like and I didn't play it much because I didn't like it. I enjoy DRK more nowadays. Is that a problematic opinion?

I gave it a shot in the supposed "glory days". Didn't really like it. Now? I think it's fun enough. So no, it's not a problematic opinion at all.

Nah, just difference in what one weighs more highly. It's definitely more sleek now, and has no reason to feel unresponsive or necessarily burdened by obligatory double-weaves.

Nah not at all, it's jus a problematic situation that create a lot of frustration, nobody likes to have their main gameplay source taken away in the way they did with DRK, specially if they make it a clone of another job in the same role.

Yeah, SE isn't in a good position when it comes to DRK. On one hand you've got people that want the old HW DRK back with the MP management, the speed, the different combos, and Dark Arts (and SB DRK kinda falls into this category since they had more MP management and Dark Arts, even if it was simplified). On the other hand you've got people that like the current DRK because it is simple and straightforward with basically no MP management or Dark Arts spam, but Delirium hits hard and big numbers make people feel good. If SE tries to return DRK back to its roots, the newer fans will get pissed that their favourite Job is being destroyed. If SE keeps using ShB DRK as the basis for EW DRK then the pissed off and disappointed fans of the old DRK are still gonna be pissed off and disappointed because their favourite Job isn't coming back. It's a messy situation and SE shouldn't have spent the past two expacs taking a hammer to DRKs kneecaps but we're at a point where HW DRK and ShB DRK are two separate Jobs sharing the same name and aesthetic, but only one can exist much to disappoint of many fans. Maybe there's a possibility of SE successfully merging the two types of DRK, but I have zero expectation of that happening, nor do I have confidence in the Job designers based off the way they've treated the Job. It really is a problematic situation and it sucks to see.
