I know this has been requested to death, but it's something that I know MANY people would love to see. I attempted to approach this from a standpoint that takes into consideration all of the concerns about database storage that have been brought up in the past.
Here are a few of the suggestions that go along with it, and hopefully aim to clean up the database storage issues a little while also making it much more user friendly to players.
Armoire Expanded
- Able to store any armor or weapons from in-game events.
- Able to store any armor or weapons from the Mogstation.
- Able to store all "Job Gear" sets such as the i50/i90 Relic Gear, i290 Antiquated Gear, etc.
- All old items that fit these requirements updated to be able to be stored and all new items that fit these requirements should be able to be stored as soon as they are available.
Glamour Log
- Existing Gear can be uploaded into the Glamour Log while the Glamour Dresser is open.
- Can only upload gear that isn't already unlocked on your Glamour Log.
- Gear is permanently removed from your inventory and cannot be restored from the Glamour Log.
- Only Unlocks the default item on your Glamour Log.
- Strips any custom item information such as Dye, Spiritbonding, NQ/HQ, Crafter Names, etc.
Glamour Dresser "Currency" tab
- Able to add Glamour Prisms, Glamour Dispellers, and Dyes to the currency tab.
- Once added, they cannot be removed.
- Glamour Dresser "Currency" can only be used while the Glamour Dresser is open.
- When performing any actions that would use one of the currency items, withdraw from the currency tab first and inventory second.
Alternatively, get rid of Glamour Prism/Dispeller/Dye consumables and simply have Dye be an "unlockable" option similar to hairstyles. Once used it becomes unlocked and it will be available while performing Dye/Glamour. Items could then be Glamoured, Dispelled, or Dyed for either a simple Gil cost or no cost at all.
I'd be happy to share any additional details as needed for this. I just hope this feature can make it into the game in some usable way to allow people to clean up their inventory and make the glamour experience much more player friendly.
