I get an error when launching FFXIV

I'm not sure the exact nature of the issue because it's in Japanese except the file names. When I launch it goes to a black screen with a white dialogue box that has the name and seems to have a problem with my audio drivers. I have this exact same problem! With the exact same messages and file list.

I have tried reinstalling on D:\ or C:\, updating all my drivers including sound drivers and nothing works!

This only happens to me when I try to run it in Directx 11. If i switch to 9, it's fine...

But I want to run it in Directx11.

I just un-installed my realtek manager, and it works. Maybe you can try it

I too am having this exact same problem. I had a windows 10 update last night so I don't know if it's to do with that?
I tried running on DX9 which got me in to the game but it runs very poorly.

So we might have found a solution.

The solution that worked for me was to disable all other audio sources aside from my headset in the windows sound settings.
(if you're on windows 10 open sound settings > sound control panel > then just right click disable the devices in the list apart from the one you actually want sound from)

I think the error is happening because there's audio devices trying to switch during launch? (I might be way off lol)
