It's an oGCD attack. Not a 5 second delay fire and forget glorified DoT.

Yoshida doesn't even know what a "pet" job even is.

A pet job would require that a "NPC" deal all your real damage for you instead of what we have been getting.

SMN's Egi and Demi are NPC. Dealing all your damage though? Not sure you know what a pet job is either. FFXI's BST and PUP are pet jobs yet the player still melee's and did WS. WoW' Hunter, Warlock , Death Knight. Aion Spiritmaster. SWG Beast Tamer.

Best example of a pet job I've ever seen is Guild Wars 1 Necromancer Minion Master tree and PSO2's Summoner.

Non MMO specific pet jobs to die for would be pet builds in Path of Exile or Grim Dawn that focus on having a multitude of pets at once...which XIV's server load cannot handle.
