    How has SE responded to the huge influx of players?

    Been out of the loop for a while and was wondering what has the devs' response been to the pretty sudden influx of players during a time of no major patch release?

    Have they mentioned their plans?

    Mainly because you have to keep in mind that mmorpgs always had huge players influxes usually during launches and those influxes never lasted for more than a few months leading to companies that decide to make a ton new servers having to merge them back because most of them would be dead since many jump on the hypetrain without any genuine interest in the game's design or genre.

    Any announcements on how they plan on handling things from now on assuming endwalker launch is gonna have massive numbers compared to previous xpacs.

    The tryhard elitist is the person who is going to finish their 5 pieces on this created to be beaten """"challenge"""" and then complaint that the baby, slower or less dexterous person are a problem which not only is toxic but indirectly implies that doing this basic created to be beaten task faster is an """achievement""" of """great skill""" which helps to falsely boost the elitist's self worth as that is their true motive, if challenge was truly their desire they would relish in the chance to do more than the rest.
    The healthy person on the other hand will either let people finish their part or assist them for their self worth does not depend on solving basic puzzles created to be beaten, aka as a video game.

    They've already got the Oceania data center in the works, that should help a little? Although I am sure there will be people who won't move to the new data center because they don't want to leave the friends and fcs and statics and all they've already made behind.

    I have no idea how data centers actually work, but would they be able to add say a world to each to help alleviate some of the strain?

    In the short term, I don't see anything happening. I expect EW to have the same split quest we had in ShB, and possibly double the layering.

    The moment the WoW streamers leave for another mmorpg, most of those players will follow them.

    No point in making it a big deal.
