Launcher crashes entire computer after hitting Play.

So the game was working perfectly fine last night, no issues or problems. When I tried to launch it today, it simply went to a black screen after hitting play, and my computer became unresponsive, even when trying to pull up the task manager, and needed to be hard rebooted.

When trying to log in again, the launcher suddenly behaved as if it were my first time running the game, said that my account had been locked for suspicious activity, and forced me to reset my password. When I tried to log in with the new password, the problem simply repeated. My computer goes to a black screen, completely ignores any and all input after that, and requires a hard reboot.

The last attempt resulted in my computer crashing completely, going to a blue screen which informed me of the crash.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game through Steam, used Steam to check the integrity of the game cache, turned off the Steam overlay, and tried running in Big Picture and administrative modes. The RAM is consistently cleaned and junk removed, and the game generally runs on the highest desktop settings with no problems. My drivers are all updated and the computer has been restarted multiple times.

What is the exact error that is received? Does this crash happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Also, could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
