I mean, having Extreme in the title should be a pretty good indicator. Also adding a little warning to extreme fights the first time you queue for it that's like "this is hard content, beware !" would be good. Considering Bozja has that, it's not a hard thing to add, and would likely make players consider leveling up their playing skills or asking for help before stepping into the duty.

The extreme version of a dungeon that lets you get away with afking and having everyone else carry your weight? Well must mean I have to not afk, that's pretty extreme.

People really don't understand the differences in difficulty between content until they get personal experience.
Like I remember, when I was in the home stretch of my initial experience of getting current, I was around the end of Stormblood, and I first heard about the Unending Coil of Bahamut. And my first thought was "Man, that would be pretty cool to clear, I'm gonna look forward to that". I had no concept of how hardcore that content even was.
Of course Extreme is many steps down from Ultimate, but I can definitely imagine that most players see extreme and don't expect too much going in. Especially since they just dealt with the jump from Normal difficulty to Hard and it's barely a jump at all, just more players.
edited first sentence because I didn't mean you specifically.

Not exactly- you get actual quests to do extremes much like other content, and it's in PF so while you're going to assume it's hard you'll also assume it's doable with a pug.
Especially if you come from other games- WoW for example has normal, heroic, mythic dungeons- but all three of them are cakewalks, M doesn't really have any challenge until you get to a certain +. FFXIV has normal, hard, extreme, savage, ultimate- it's easy to assume ult's gonna be super hard and savage will prob require a premade, but EX being tricky but doable seems reasonable.
I did a Ramuh EX after I'd gotten through ARR and was starting HW, still very new- it was a big challenge, think we got it around the 10 min remaining point. That said- was one of the best prog raiding experiences I've had in years, everyone was trying to learn it, no negativity, 0 people left- so I'm not sure I'm against it staying in DF since that positive experience with Ramuh EX kinda washed away years of miserable LFR and normal raid pugs in WoW.
I've done a few EX/minstrel ballads now in PF, been fun. I think if someone hates pugging hard content, they're going to find a group instead anyway.
