Achievements for clearing trials/raids at minimum ilvl / no echo / before next patch

    Hello everyone,

As you may have noticed, a lot of people are currently more interested in doing the older contents, now that there are even more new players than before, and of course with the recent influence of Asmongold streams.

I really think that introducing special achievments for clearing Extreme Trials and Savage Raids (or every raid, especially for ARR) in "real conditions", would be a nice way to reward people who try those, and a good way to keep the old instances even more alive than ever.

Something like a "Classic Mode", with minimum ilvl and no echo, or when people clear a current Extreme Tiral / Savage Raid without being overgeared, before the release of a next patch.

What do you think of it?

While it's not a bad idea by any means, I suspect it wouldn't keep old content alive that long. Most of the serious players would blow through all the old content in a few days and then be back to not running it. To keep content running for a period of time, you need some sort of long term carrot to dangle. That's why people run extremes for weeks on end when they are new, to get the mount that either requires good luck or almost 100 clears to get.

Blue mage sorta has the same problem. There aren't really any long term grinds for BLU content so far. Just get all the spells, clear carnivale, and clear savage for titles then you are done. The serious players do everything within the first few weeks then move on to something else and after that BLU content kinda dies. You'll still get the occasional BLU PFs here and there, but its nothing near "Active".
