I don't hate "success", i hate how mindless follower of streamers are, how they repeat what they say like broken records and follow them around like lost puppies. That's the only thing i'm going to post on these threads about this clown. Ugh...

I think what people are more annoyed at is- despite there already being a massive Asmon thread, his loyalists keep spamming new threads about him. If it were contained to one thread, yuo could still easily have all the discussion you want.

Most people don't wanna look at the front page and see 5+ threads about him half the time.

Nothing to do with "salt" or hating anyone. He seems a nice guy and I agree with him most of the time, but I don't like the cabal of followers who spam the forum about every single thing he does in a computer game. They're the same people who ruined his new player experience and showed twitch what an absolute cesspit of troglodytes hang around him.

Asmond aside (him playing and actually wanting to invest in the story is hands down the best part, I think many in the XIV community would respect that) the game has been more than successful before all of this mass exodus. Its quite clear that Blizzard is showing that itself is also possible of failure to a level of what SE was back with 1.0. Maybe this is a wake up call for them and they will move forward with a completely different outlook on WoW.

Like I said in another thread, I play games for me not for others. If you need to rely on a streamer or celebrity to attempt a game then you cant really find the game worthwhile. Yea they might make it more appealing but honestly its pretty silly to only play a game because some other person.

well there is then a new trend, doing extremes with duty finder. i mean im okay with it when i remember fight , when i dont well i sense this encouraging sprouts to do these fights mostly with DF because i dont know if you can do them with party finder when youre on free trial since there are some limitations.... i hope they will understand some just dont like to do these fights. as i said im okay with explaining when i can, but do explanation for almost every duty can be somehow tiring. still dont know what to think about this Asmon guy.
