Trusty old GTX1060 still going strong.

Not as high as I expected, but the game runs fine.

The benchmark and the game reads Intel Graphics when I run the game, but this laptop has nvidia installed. How do I turn on nvidia when I play the game? Please help, thank you.

You're most likely in MSI hybrid mode and not Discrete graphics. either way it will be using the nvidia just routing it through onboard as opposed to direct.

can change it in whatever control centre software you use. for example.

Doesn't seem to support 21:9, most likely inaccurate.

It does if you have a 21:9 monitor.....

FF14 isn't like some of those JP companies that output trash PC ports that give you a BSOD when you switch to 21:9. People have played this on 32:9 too.

Mostly a matter of latency and clock speed. For example, a 3rd Gen Ryzen 3300x (4/4) will do a lot better on this game than my 1st gen 1700 (8/16)

I haven't bothered to OC my 5950X outside of a "OC" mode on my mb so all cores is set to 4,5 ghz instead of stock, wanted to keep my system cooled as possible.

But then 5950X isn't really a gaming cpu so it's whatever since I still can play on max settings on a good fps.

My control center doesn't have an option for it. I'll have to check bios.

The benchmark isn't even recognizing it though which is odd.

I was very happy when I saw my old 8 years old PC managed to get 11k score on this benchmark. But after seeing how high the scores could get here in this forums I learned my score is a bit on the low side lolz

Only 7245 so I should still be able to play without any lag or issues as I do now. My PC is about 6 years old and still using an AMD FX and a 1060 card. I built my husband a machine with a 1st gen Ryzen a couple of years or so ago (it was RIGHT before the 2nd gen came out so I was kind of annoyed I missed it and didn't wait) but it wasn't in the cards to build myself one. He PC games a lot more whereas I just do XIV, Borderlands, and Diablo and prefer console for everything else. My birthday's in September, though, so maybe I'll see about some upgrades for a birthday present to myself.
