I'm on wireless internet through my iPad hotspot though, so my issues won't be NBN-related.
It could have its own speed issues of course, but it's usually fine. I think I have more issues than if using the Telstra connection from my phone, though.
I'm on NBN, but my ISP is iinet, and I'm having no trouble (other than the usual expected weekend Balmungian shennigans typical of my server), so this is clearly an Optus issue. And as I mentioned before, for the past couple of weeks Optus has been plagued by service issues and outages affecting their mobile and internet networks, so this is probably connected to that (from what I understand the problem may be caused by a cyberattack on their network, but don't quote me on that).
Either way, there is nothing SE can do as I mentioned before. All you can do is just be patient and hope Optus can sort their problems out.
