This game also failed horribly and is being redone from the ground up with input from the community. Whatever was announced back then was (hopefully) tanakas vision. Now we are getting a completely new game from Yoshida.
Yoshidas 3 pillars sound a lot different then that whole "intended to be casual" stuff. I remember them saying that though. Lol the horrible "fatigue" system was there to try to keep some weird balance between hardcore and casual. So ya I REALLY hope they aren't sticking with the made for casuals mostly idea...thats what made the game fail in the first place imo..

It was the lack of content, and clumpy UI that is at fault. It has nothing to do with casual gameplay. You should read more of Yoshi-P interviews. They're floating around somewhere. This game also failed horribly and is being redone from the ground up with input from the community. Whatever was announced back then was (hopefully) tanakas vision. If you understand the fatigue system, people wont be running through 1 to 50 in a matter of weeks. Even though it wasn't a perfect system you can still level other classes while one class fatigue resets.
Yep, it also let the other(casuals) level one class and keep up with others with multiple classes. It was the lack of content, and clumpy UI that is at fault. It has nothing to do with casual gameplay. You should read more of Yoshi-P interviews. They're floating around somewhere.
