Teleports menu is bad

As dated as it is its not really that much of a problem so I don't see SE bothering to even look at it . It works good enough and does what is intended, why bother wasting time and money on simple console commands. Also you can add teleport to your hot bar, if that helps make things easier and like Raikai said history or favorite to shorten the effort.

Note that the type input wouldn't help anyone in console so that's a thing. Its not that I think your idea is bad just that its not a needed one that would help with everyone's QoL
Also I play on both PC and console so this isn't a bias on it.

If you are more bothered by the listing of locations I can kinda understand, scrolling down constantly can be annoying but like I said it does what is intended

Explorer mode and gpose stickers don't help with most people either. Duty Recorder especially wasn't popular, but it still exists. Do I even need to mention housing? How does anything related to housing affect the majority of people who don't have a plot?

QoL doesnt have to affect everybody to be appreciated. This change would especially benefit gatherers, as they teleport the most. QoL is never needed. We didnt need cooldowns resetting on wipes, or food buffs persisting on death, but we still got it, because it doesn't waste people's time and ask them to do unnecessary busywork.

Everytime you press teleport on your hotbar and scroll to your location, just think that if you had a macro that said "/teleport "Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks" or whatever else location you regularly visit, you could already be loading in. Then there's stuff like aethersands or when I'm gathering legendary items, where I need to teleport every 2 minutes or so, I'm having my clicks doubled at least and my time wasted.

And this would be available to console players, since macros are nothing more than text commands.

Everybody teleports.
