Summons a small Dragon to attack whatever we are attacking at that moment. Also tethering eyes to both us and partner of choice.
Of course increasing damage dealt as usual.


It would be a nice homage to FF11 Dragoon pet and it makes more sense now (SPOILER WARNIN) than in ARR with Dragons not being enemies any longer (esp with where Estinien is at right now)

I think they had this back in 1.0 but correct me if Im wrong. Also I believe they took it out due to the bad AI system which isn't that better now. Also don't see much reason to add it other then your history in HW with the brood. Not saying I don't like the idea but I don't think it would be possible. Also you got summoner already having a pet might be a clash in identity if you just give DRG a pet and now with DRk having living shadow its even more of a no, plus reaper if you where thinking that they have a combo system around it. Idk since reaper will be sharing drg gear I cant say it could be impossible but it wouldn't be a pet it would be that just like reaper weaved in with your combos.

Ignoring the poster above, yes I do believe a FFXI style Wyvern could work. It works lore wise and could function well with auto attack along with breath attack during certain abilities.

In my idea it wouldn't be a pet. It would be a glorified DOT which I wouldn't mind because it would be visually pleasing.

I always keep the wyvern minion with me, but it's just not the same...

Yoshi was asked about the possibility of this ages ago and basically said "no" from what I remember. The dragonling minion is basically the closest you're going to get to FFXI's wyvern pet I'm afraid.

I'd rather a spirit dragon cleaving multi-strike, perhaps as an upgrade to Mirage Dive, if it's otherwise just going to be... another DoT with persistent visual clutter.

Ideally, some skill summons and fires off the (spirit) dragon, which divebombs or arcs past immediately and then on recast until all its charges are consumed. Follow the standard DRG theme in banking for CD windows.
