This isn't about being serious. This is about someone that literally uses less than 1/4 of their jobs' kits because they don't like how they look.I know I am going to ruin 70 pages of this entire thing but seriously guys I do not play FF14 to do anything seriously. If I wanted that stuff I would install like 12 addons with 5 weakauras and be back over in WoW min/max'n my character no lifing and ruining my marriage avoiding my kids.People play FF14 because it is laid back and fun.
Lets keep it that way because I am having fun.
Hey guess what I have played for years and NEVER DONE A SINGLE Savage in the current tier. I prefer to keep up the delusion that the 70 pages of this thread does not exist where the FF14 community is not identical to the most toxic aspects of the WoW community.
At some point the people that play this game hardcore need to realize people are used to this idea of GUILDS and statics are the most silly thing we have ever seen. Playing with people who think like you is called a GUILDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD in every single other MMO.
Drop this incredibly dumb outdated concept of statics and just form guilds dedicated to hardcore raiding. Stop trying to get casual players to be like you. You being you is what makes you special. Why would you want to dumb down your own accomplishments?
All I see here is 71 pages of accomplished players yelling at other on how they would make casuals into elite players.
No one's asking for casual players to become elite players.Hey guess what I have played for years and NEVER DONE A SINGLE Savage in the current tier. The thread is mostly about how the game could do better at teaching skills for the game inside of the game. With a little side of trying to get a player and her husband to realize that it's not nice to always force strangers to carry her through content because she only uses the skills she deems cool - which is about 2-3 of them. And then go around and yell at others asking for players to play a different way than they like.
Wake me up....when September ends
We have tried to say this so many ways, but everyone just comes back to elite casuals and buzz word buzz word random debate about speed running. I miss when everyone was giving some cool ideas, and explaining their frustrations they felt with the pre-existing 'tutorials' aka millions of pop up windows I disabled and told myself I would read those later.

You mean the 2 or 3 pages you actually read and then assumed?
If you had any semblance of understanding about this thread you'd know what the hot topic is.
Since when is asking someone to use more than 2-3 skills in level 70+ content turning casuals into elitists? Since when is asking someone to know their basic rotation in level 70+ content turning casuals into elitists? It's not.
Go back and read the whole thread before you try to come in here and throw your self-appointed weight around.
