The way you are acting. Yes we would be very much happy if you did not Queue in DF. You take this game way too serious, and act like you have a moral backing behind you because we don't agree. Raised better? Come on now. That is funny, because a game is just a game. I don't need progression to enjoy the game. You take this game far too serious, your whole examples made me chuckle. Like, not everyone has the same values as you. DF content is design for people who can play how they want and still get through it. No need to be a drama queen about "skill" in a match making system.

People are playing the game, and getting through the content without meeting your standards.

Just how people are acting and examples people gave. It pretty much seems like a job the way people acting about it.

Also nothing wrong with being a casual. This is a casual game and the community embraces it.

I know my job's rotations thanks and I do well and don't just sit there. I do PLAY...doesn't mean I like elitists trying to harp on every little thing people do wrong in DF. Don't like roulette? Stay the heck out of it or form a party with people you know. I play this game for the story/gathering/crafting. Roulettes and DF runs are simply for tomes and gil for me. I am not looking for someone to be parsing me and expecting the ultimate in perfection in a daily roulette in Satasha. Thankfully, YOU are not on my DC so I never have to worry about being plopped in a party with you.

you're completely missing the point of my post and are projecting a HELL of a lot of things into my post that just aren't there

some of you people seriously need to get over yourselves with your thin-skinned projections over other players

but to give you a serious response:
people, me included, are not talking about players like you or anyone that plays their class decently, there are absolutely 0 (zero) of "us" asking for players to use their perfect rotation or anything and yet, that's THE thing you or others always and I mean always seem to focus on
we are talking about players who either knowingly play badly in ilvl locked level 80 content or have been taught the class wrong by the game/their friends because you can brute force yourself through 99% of the content
you have to invent scenarios and headcanons where you have to paint me as some elitist bad guy because I dare to criticize this on the official forum and yet, if you'd see me encounter this in DF, I'd try to help the player in question, but hey, my willingness to help someone improve is apparently toxic, so I should stop doing that and instead coddle and tell someone in lvl 80 content that using nothing but cure 1 is perfectly fine and that everyone else asking them to use something else are toxic elitists, right?
DF is fun, the things you can see and experience in it are fun, but after you wipe to E12N 5 times because both healers use only cure and benefic 1, it stops being fun, there's only so much the rest of the party can do to mitigate that
both of us are playing the game for the very same reason (minus crafting for me, tho I'm getting there), I don't do high end content, so trying to paint me as some elitist tryhard raider is really damn cringe, in my eyes

Is it so hard to understand, that anyone who joins a random group of players (no matter by PF or DF), should at least put some minor effort into it? I m not speaking of 200%-Ultra-Hardcore-Raid-Skills in a dungeon. I m speaking of basics like doing mechanics and not being afk 50% of your time.

- Yes it is. But its a game you play with other people. If you dont want to play WITH other people, there are tons of singleplayer games waiting for you. But FFXIV is an MMORPG.

But I want to play like I want!
- Then go with your friends or find some FC-members with the same attitude. Its pretty impolite to force your playstyle to 3-7 other people. Show some respect and do your job!
