See those are the good bits of advice. The one I remember being the best I did receive super early on was make the target bar big and separate it so you can independently enlarge the spell that is casting in order to see the name of some tank busters and raid wides if not most some are telegraphed, a la Dark Souls style. The other was the aggro meter colors in the enemy list, and if they are red you have aggro, yellow for losing aggro, and green for no aggro. Unfortunately, you have to hit them for them all to show up which is kind of a pain in the booty when your first starting out and you miss one mob with your aoe. There are tiny hard to see numbers and symbols next to your job picture in the party window indicating A for aggro and than numbers so you know if your dpsing harder than everyone else. Cleansable stuff have the white line, and a bunch of strange obscure things I honestly missed completely. I feel ashamed to admit I just switched to legacy controls because I didn't know I could overpower backwards with it enabled, and shield lob, tomahawk etc without spinning all of the way around making myself feel sick >.<
