I don't have a problem with bad players in content. You all do. This is not about me. I'm just calling you all out for acting like you want what is best for other players. When clearly all you want is better groups for yourself. Has nothing to do with someone elses fun.

Sure, you havent a problem with bad players. You have a problem with normal players. Thats why you re not able to adjust to your group. You keep your playstyle, no matter what (which is often proven by your previous posts). If you have some empathy, you would also know the difference between "bad" players and "bad" players and why its a big deal.

Some players are bad, because they are new or just limited. But they dont actaully bad, because they at least try their best. They communicate and wants to improve theirselves. They pay attention and actually play the game. Thats why I have no problem with those kinds of players. I love them. Those are making my runs more exciting than any other content. Interacting with other people is what makes MMORPGs so great.

But then we have the real bad players. Players, who are lazy and selfish. Players, who refuse to accept any critism or not willing to interact with others. They mistake FFXIV as a single player game, where everyone is their personal NPC. Those are parasites who wants to ruin the game for everyone just for the luls. No matter in clear-groups or in duty roulette, they are king (some of them even wearing a crown).

Yes, leave the content other people enjoy alone. But instead some players smuggle themself into clear-groups and ruins the entire run, because they are crying about not getting instant savage kills just by paying their subscription.

The Devs heard people who want something harder and have spent some time developing that with Savage/Ultimate and the Faux stuff. That they HAVEN'T put more time into hard content and that they cut ultimate trials should tell you all you need to know about the team's perspective on difficult content.

If you get a crappy player, you have options to remove them from your team and/or blacklist them and move on.

The lengths you people go to defend this stuff. Looks like the community needs to set a standard and stick to it so lazy leeches like you ether shape up or leave the game because it's "too hard" or "too much effort"

They're scattered all around everywhere. It's like that one guy that's always rude and mean to everyone for no reason. No matter where you go they're always around.

You're also deflecting my point: the act of intentionally performing sub-par while everyone else is playing more efficiently is the issue. Thankfully it's a valid reason for kicking people since they're actively holding the group back.

I will reiterate something I said before: Being new is one thing, being lazy is another.

Because it is content for us as well. We have to run expert roulette, we have to run 24 mans and their associated roulette, and we have to run raid roulette and do normal modes as well. It's also a matter of benefit, as groups benefit from "elitist" button presser as opposed to the net drain that is the average non-button pressing "leech".

Well the leeches don't need you to get the dungeon done. So at the end of the day. Run the roulette and understand that you are playing with people like that. it is for them just as much as for you. The content is design with them in mind, So asking them to meet your standards when the game does not require them or ask them to do it is very much not required or needed.

Trusts are designed specifically for these types of players who would rather leisurely stroll through a given dungeon and not actually utilize their skills. The only reason for those players to queue into DF is because Trusts take significantly longer to clear. In other words, they want to benefit from better players killing things faster. That comes with expectations that if not met, may lead to your dismissal.

Furthermore, DF isn't designed with the purposeful intent of playing poorly or not pushing your buttons but rather with the assumption inexperienced players won't understand the order properly or might make more basic mistakes. Japanese culture simply wouldn't allow for it because leeches are decidedly uncommon.

That's a fair point I guess- I don't know about servers outside JP, so it's fair to say my opinions are only applicable to what I know. I don't know why you put up with the AST tho, I'da dropped him like a bad hat.

I'd have tried but opened chests where people don't roll on the loot makes it kinda hard :P
plus, the dps' did enough damage so everything got done in a relative timely fashion, the 5 minutes extra are not really a big deal

just for the record, wyv is defending his wife who actively does not use half of her abilities because she doesn't like the look of them - and how that's perfectly fine because it's "just" DF and that people should expect players who actively refuse to play their class in it and how people who expect more are toxic, tryhard elitists who don't have friends

Ah, well I would encourage her to play better..but my wife is pretty similar to be honest. She plays the game more or less like a chat room to socialize with her friends. Fortunately she is aware of her D- skill level..and never uses DF. She plays exclusively within our circle of RL friends.
