FFXI 20th aniversry x FFXIV collaboration event idea

SE, i am very excited for FFXI 20th aniversry as i started FFXI two years ago and having a blast with it, ( Windurst for ever!)

My wish and idea for FFXI x FFXIV collaboration, i was hoping was to concentrate on Iroha as she never left Ezorea to go back and save Vanadiel.

I was wondering if we could also get Prishe or Lilisette, Arciela, Aphmau or even Naja Salaheem to show up in Ezorea

Just no more shantotto, as much as i love that powerful all mighty, terrifying besty-westy ,Black mage Tarutatru, I would like the other famous NPCs of Vanadiel to get more screen time, thank you SE, excited what your going to do for FFXI 20th aniversry collab

We've already had two FFXI crossover events in FFXIV already (that were repeated many times), given we still haven't gotten the long rumoured FFVII event I think that's more likely than yet another FFXI event.

Having said that, anything is possible I guess, but a direct tie-in with the FFXI 20th anniversary is probably unlikely now at this stage, we'd probably just get another rerun of the second FFXI event at most.

She even says the its probably will of the goddess, Altana that shes even stuck in Ezorea ( for now) and its for a reason

It's a special event quest, they usually exist in their own bubble seperate from the main scenario and aren't really 'canon' to it I'm afraid (this is why you never see the main scenario refer to any seasonal or special events, as they have no connection to it). Special events like crossover events are just for fun with no deeper story connections.

So yes alas, I'm afraid Iroha probably is now stuck in Hydaelyn forever (although, to be fair, like the future counterpart of a certain Sharlayan red-haired sunseeker scholar who ended up travelling to a paralell world and changed the future so that the timeline he came from no longer existed so he couldn't return to it, in the same way Iroha's future timeline on Vana'diel no longer existed, so she too is now 'cast off' and can't return, Altana's will or not. But I digress...).

I rather SE give the FF11 team the resources they need to make something new with it. Many has wished for a move from POL to a HD remake and new content (like a new expansion) for the 20 anniversary.

The way I want the combined sub fee like we had briefly way back. If they did that again I would play XI again.

I would love to see a rerun of both FFXI events in celebration of the 20th anniversary of FFXI.
