I apologize first and foremost if this is in the wrong area, or if I did not do something correctly to fill out this graphical bug issue, but I did my best to read the rules and use the necessary template to accurately describe the issue to the best of my ability.
Date & Time: Between 7:45p, CT - 9:30p, CT; (any time during Eorzea time, although most noticeable during the night cycle)
Frequency: Daily Eorzean timeframe
World name: Faerie
Character name: Mikhail Howlite (main character: Leo Howlite)
Retainer name: N/A
NPC name: N/A
Monster name: N/A
Class/Level: Any, noticed it on GLD though
Party or solo: Solo, although I don't think it will matter
In-game time: Any Eorzean timeframe, day or night cycle; perpetual
Area and coordinates: The Eighty Sins of Sasamo, Western Thanalan, X: 28.9, Y: 22.9, Z: 1.0
(Looking towards The Gate of the Sultana)
Housing: N/A / None
Steps: When flying around these coordinates looking towards the Ul'dah background, it's clearly visible that part of the right-most structure has texture issues and/or does not reflect or match the original backdrop. It appears to be slightly less noticeable during the day, or during daybreak (was when upon testing it), but the nighttime cycle is clearly a reflection/textural issue where the spires of the city backdrop take on the appearance of a steel/colorless theme, rather than Ul'dah's traditional warm, sandy color palette.
I realize during the massive undertaking the devs did during the ARR maps rebuild to facilitate flying, there would most definitely be issues that come up here or there. It is perfectly understandable that something may not take an accurate representation of what was intended to be 100%. Though I thought I should bring this to the devs attention in case it was an oversight that no one either noticed or could replicate under proper/clear weather conditions in-game.
